Abstract

Thermoplastic polymer compositions of good low temperature impact strength comprise: (A) a copolymer of acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonitrile with butadiene and styrene containing 10-25% by weight of acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonitrile units, 40-65% by weight butadiene units and 25-38% by weight of styrene units; (B) a thermoplastic polyurethane having a urethane content of 45-80% which is the reaction product of a diisocyanate, a diol of molecular weight below 400, and a hydroxyl-ended polyester of molecular weight 800-4000, using a NCO:OH ratio of 0.96:1 to 1.1:1; the ratio of (A) to (B) lying within the range of 1:99 to 1:1.
