Abstract
In a pneumatic pressure-operable booster the energisation of a working chamber is controlled by a valve mechanism 13 operable by a pedal- operable input member 8 which is arranged to act on an output member 10 upon failure of the booster. A force developed by energisation of the working chamber is applied to the output member 10 through an hydraulic connection 25 so that the pot 7 which constitutes the working chamber can be mounted at any convenient location remote from the input member 8 and the output member 10, to facilitate installation in a limited space. <IMAGE>
