Abstract

The pump comprises a first feed inlet 1 to a flow channel 2, a second feed inlet to a flow channel 6, a first feed outlet 3, a second feed outlet and an impeller 5 mounted on a rotatable shaft 4. The blades of the impeller extend over both outlets so that energy is imparted to both feedstocks. The pump is particularly useful in imparting energy to a small stream of liquid which is on the point of joining a larger stream and at the same time, imparting further energy to the larger stream. <IMAGE>
