Abstract

A fastener for a neck chain for pigs comprises an arched main part 4 having hooked end parts 5 which slidingly receives two mousing pieces 6, for co-operating with the hooked end parts and between which pieces a spring 7 is placed. The arched main part 4 and the hooked end parts 5 are formed in one-piece by pressing a thin metal sheet whose ends - in addition to being shaped into hook-form - have been corrugated, while the arched main part is shaped into a U- formed groove with flaps or flanges for engagement with the mousing pieces 6 urged by the spring 7. <IMAGE>
