Abstract

A continuous wrapping device, more especially for sweets, using a singling plate which operates with centrifugal force and is provided with pockets on its circumference and downstream of which there is arranged a vertically arranged gripper wheel, comprising radial holding elements, for transferring the sweets into a wrapping wheel provided with grippers as well as inside and outside folders, characterised in that the holding elements (31) on the gripper wheel (3) comprise a radial supporting surface (32) and a clamping lever (33) for the cut wrappings (E) and are arranged in such a way that they meet symmetrically in a radial plane and transversely to one another in the same direction in the point of tangency of the pitch circles at the transfer point and the take-over point respectively while the rotational speeds of the pockets (11) of the single plate (1) and the grippers (41) of the wrapping wheel (4) are the same. <IMAGE>
