Abstract

In a method according to the invention, the structure, comprising a pedestal structure such as a tripod base (1) and beam (7) connected by an articulation (6), is brought to the site with the beam folded back against the pedestal structure which is itself partly horizontal. The tail (8) is stowed on the platform (10), and then the pedestal structure is made to tilt around the articulation (6), and finally the base of this structure is caused to rest on the bottom.
