Abstract

A grinding device for grinding spices and the like has a threaded portion 2 by which it can be connected to a storage jar. Other connections are possible. One set of grinding surfaces 13 is, in use, fixed to the jar. A rotatable sleeve 1 has a surface facing the surface 13, which cooperates with the surface 13 to perform a grinding action and which has discharge openings for ground spice. <IMAGE>
