Abstract

The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a mineral fibrous product, such as a mineral wool product or a rock wool product by applying a fire- proof liquid adhesive composition upon each of the surfaces of an intermediate in support layer consisting of a glass non woven web or fabric 8, whereafter an aluminium foil 6 and a surface of a mineral fibrous product to be coated, for example a plate 2, are pressed onto the liquid adhesive layers upon said intermediate layer 8. A roller track 1 is used for conveying the product while there is a reel 5 for stocking the aluminium foil, whereas a second reel 7 comprises the flass non woven or fabric 8, which is guided through a guide roller 9 along a moisturizer 10 immersed in an adhesive composition 11 and subsequently along guide rollers 13, 14 and 15, thus that the foil and the non-woven or fabric will contact another almost simultaneously and thereafter will be pressed against the surface 16 of the mineral wool plate 2 to be coated, whence the finished product is dried and discharged. <IMAGE>
