Abstract
The compounds have the formula RaHN-A-CH=CH-CR1R2 -NHRb wherein A is -CH2-,-(CH2)2- or -CH(CH3)-; R1 is -CH=CH2 or -C=CH; R2 is hydrogen or COR wherein R is hydroxy, alkoxy or 1 to 8 carbon atoms, -NR4R5 wherein R4 and R5 are the same or different and are each hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or -NH- CHR6-COOH wherein R6 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, benzyl or p-hydroxybenzyl, Ra and Rb are the same or different and are each hydrogen, HN=CNH2-, (C1-4alkyl)carbonyl, (C1-4alkoxy)carbonyl or -CO-CHNH2- R7 wherein R7 is hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, benzyl or p-hydroxybenzyl; with the provisos that Rb is not HN=CNH2-; that when R2 is hydrogen, R1 is -C=CH; that when A is -CH(CH3)-, R2 is hydrogen; and that when Ra is HN=CNH2, A is methylene.
