Abstract

An electrical connector comprises a tab receptacle having a lance 11 on a tongue 9 to latch to a tab 1 mated therewith, the receptacle 4 being contained in an insulating housing 3 having a depressible portion 16 operative to effect release of the lance 11 from an aperture 2 in the tab 1 by depressing the raised free end 10 of the tongue 9, the depressible portion 16 also serving to retain the tab receptacle 4 in the housing 3. <IMAGE>
