Abstract

An electrical connector comprises resilient latching tongues (48) on lateral sides of a contact carrying block (42A). Grooves (58) are formed at lateral sides of a chamber (54) of a complementary contact carrying block (42B) to receive the tongues upon coupling of these blocks. Mounting lugs 62 at the rear of one block are flush with the sides of the block. <IMAGE>
