Abstract

According to the present invention, there is provided a method for controlling the composition of a pickling solution characterized in that in the pickling for stainless steel using a ferric sulfate-hydrofluoric acid bath, the oxidation-reduction potential of the pickling solution is held in a predetermined range by adding hydrogen peroxide and sulfuric acid into the pickling solution.
