Belts; neck-ties; equipments for carrying purposes.-A tourniquet is made from a strap a provided with a series of holes e to receive a hook or other fastening f after the strap has been applied to the wearer. The strap has a loop c or other fastening device at one end to secure a knife, and a loop b at the other end to enable it to be passed round the shoulder and used as a lanyard. It is also adapted for use as a body-belt, an armband, a neck-tie, a carrier for books, or in connexion with tents, harness, or motor-vehicles, or for securing splints and bandages.
