Abstract
197,175. Mechans, Ltd., and Moyes, J. Y. April 21, 1922. Pressed metal boats.-In pressed metal boats formed of plates disposed cn either side of the keel the transversely abutting edges 1 being flanged to form stiffeners which are connected by riveting and welding. The plates A are welded at the outside of the hull so producing an exterior flush surface. Weldable metallic packing may be placed between the flanges when assembling the boat, thus supplying the metal to be fused in making the weld. The keel portion of the plates is riveted and welded to the keel B.
