Abstract

196,940. Wahl C., (Assignees of Tefft, I. D.). May 1, 1922, [Convention date]. Reservoir pens.-In a self-filling reservoir pen of the type in which a collapsable sac 7 is compressed by a lever-actuated presser-bar 16. the lever is pivoted in a slot in the barrel by resilient means mounted in conjunction with the lever. The barrel 1, which is preferably formed of metal, is provided with a slot 2, the walls of which are formed with flanges 3, 4 pressed downwards into the barrel. The flanges 3 co-operat.e with flanges 13 formed on the lever 12 to hold the latter in closed position. The lever is pivoted between the flanges 4 by means of a U-shaped spring wire 17 having outwardly-bent ends which engage in aligned apertures in the flanges and sides of the lever.
