Abstract

182,256. Coney, C., and Coney, F. April 27, 1921. Ball and float valves.-To adjust the operative relation of the float to the valve in a ball float valve, the lever 1 is provided with a forked end 4, to which a short extension 7 of the lever is pivoted by means of a split pin 6. The free end of the lever 7 is forked at 12 so as to engage with a groove at the lower end of a screw 10 working in a bridge-piece 9 connecting the forked ends 4. The two parts of the lever may thus be set at any desired angle to one another by turning the screw 10. The screw may be provided with a lock-nut 13.
