Abstract

March 18, 1921 Vulcanizing, pressing devices for. - In apparatus of the kind described in Specification 14554/08, in which the portion of a tyre o to be vulcanized is pressed against a heated core n by tensioned bandages m, the bandages are provided with looped ends d by which they are threaded on rods i having a curvature corresponding to the size of the tvre. Short slotted sleeves c, attached to the nuts a of the tensioning-screws h, are slipped over the ends of the rods. Troughshaped bodies q are inserted between the bandages and the bead to press the latter against the mould.
