Abstract

168,244. Kendrich, A. L. Aug. 17, 1920. Disc wheels.-A disc wheel is formed of one or two dished discs having internal radial ribs. The ribs are of uniform depth and are formed by folding a metal sheet A, of the shape shown in Fig. 3, along the dotted lines, so that it takes the form shown in Fig. 2. When the peripheral flange B is not provided, the rim is supported on the ends of the radial ribs. A plain disc of metal may be secured to the convex side of the disc to hide the folds of the ribs.
