Abstract

The housing has the external dimensions of a standardised freight container and has a base frame (12) which is secured on the floor of the housing and on which is mounted a machine unit. The load-bearing part of the floor of the housing consists of a frame construction (13) which has two continuous outer longitudinal members (14), cross members (15, 16, 17, 18) and two central longitudinal members (19). The central longitudinal members (19) start from one narrow side of the floor of the housing and extend as far as the third cross member (17). The centre distance of the central longitudinal members (19) corresponds approximately to the track width of transport rollers (24) mounted on the base frame (12). Guide rails (25) arranged on the central longitudinal members (19) serve for the lateral guidance of the transport rollers (24) when the machine unit is rolled into or out of the housing on the base frame (12). To anchor the base frame (12) on the frame construction (13), foundations (20) in the form of two rails are arranged parallel to the central longitudinal members (19), between the second and third cross member (16, 17). While having a large load-bearing capacity, this frame construction (13) permits a small overall height so that when the overall height of the housing is limited, there remains a large clearance within the housing for the machine unit. <IMAGE>
