Abstract

In the rope-up kit comprising a seat belt and a chest belt an elastic element (7) is arranged between the rope-up point (6) and the seat belt (3). This element stretches during the hauling shock. Thus, the hauling shock is mainly transmitted to the chest belt (4), and this prevents spinal compression. After the hauling shock the elastic element transmits the rope traction mainly onto the seat belt. The chest belt is then relieved, and this prevents constriction. An intended breakage member (16) is arranged in parallel with the elastic element in order to prevent stretching of the element during normal loading. <IMAGE>
