Abstract

1535441 Chromatography sampling device HEWLETT-PACKARD GmbH 16 Dec 1976 [4 Feb 1976] 52575/76 Heading B1H [Also in Divisions Fl and F2] A sample injection device for liquid chromatography comprises a syringe 19 having a piston 37, said syringe being moveable, by fluid pressure means 29 having alternative fluid inlets 31, 33, from the position shown to that where needle 25 seats in seat 27 so that the syringe contents can be passed into column 13 through non-return valve 23 by means of eluent supplied through pipe 17. The piston has adjustable stop 43 and may also be fluid operated.
