Abstract
1532867 Starting and stopping I C engines DAIMLER-BENZ A G 30 Nov 1976 [4 Dec 1975] 49898/76 Headings F1B and F1K In an arrangement for stopping and/or starting an air-compressing I.C. engine, in which a device 17 is provided on or operatively associated with the regulator 2 of the fuel-injection pump 1 for moving the regulating rod 5 of the latter into an extreme position for starting or stopping the engine and in which a valve 21 operated by hand, preferably by means of a starter key 20, causes an auxiliary force to act on a connecting element 26 which, by way of, e.g. linkage and lever elements 29, 30, 31 brings the rod 1 into the extreme position, the auxiliary force is applied by the fuel-supply pump 8.
