Abstract
1532357 Bearings MIBA GLEITLAGER AG 27 Sept 1977 [28 Sept 1976] 40074/77 Heading F2A A sliding surface bearing element comprises an aluminium-base or copper-base bearing metal layer 2 having a surface which is formed with recesses and white metal 4 embedded in said recesses, the lands 5 between the white metal pads being recessed from the sliding contact surface formed by said pads. The grooves defined by the lands may be filled with a dry lubricant such as PTFE, molybdenum disulphide, or graphite. The lubricant may be bonded with synthetic resin.
