Abstract

1522853 Electrical connectors COMTRONIC GmbH BAUELEMENTE GERATE UND MATERIALIEN FUR DIE ELEKTRONIK 29 Aug 1975 [31 Aug 1974] 35780/75 Heading H2E A connector has each of its pins fitted with a tubular filter, the pins being disposed in recesses in an elongate housing 1 having conductive elements (9, Fig. 2, not shown) at each end for attaching the connector to an electronic unit. The filters 3 extend by about half their length into the housing and are soldered to an earth plate 5, the remaining half of the filters not in the housing being embedded in insulating material 7. In the embodiment a retaining clip 2c arranged about each pin 2 has a projection 2d engaging a shoulder in the housing bore. A plastics member 6 serves to retain casting resin 7 before it sets. Fingers (5a) extending from the earthing plate 5 are bowed outwardly and press against the sides 8a of an aperture in plate 8. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,014,740.
