Abstract

1496799 Two part couplings HEGO ELECTRIC GmbH 17 March 1975 10970/75 Heading H2E A connector comprises a plurality of sockets 5 in an insulating case 1 for connection to rows of terminal pins 8 attached to a printed circuit board 3. Each socket branches into two or more terminals which emerge on the opposite side of the case. The terminals may be solder tags, screw terminals or further sockets as required. The groups of sockets and terminals are staggered by reversing each alternate group along the connector. The connector casing 1 may be fixed to the pin terminal housing 9 by fastening means such as teeth in co-operation with recesses (not shown) and non-interchangeability of the plug and socket system may be ensured by use of coding boards 7 engaged on studs 6 projecting from the insulating cases.
