Abstract
1521618 Resistors in fused circuits PLESSEY CO Ltd 9 June 1977 [9 June 1976] 23791/76 Heading HIS A fused power supply circuit includes a resistor comprising an insulating substrate 1, e.g. alumina, having screen-printed thereon a serpentine track 2 having relatively low resistance so that the resistor can withstand power surges without burning out before the fuse blows. Track 2 may be of palladium silver- or platinum silver-based cermet inks, nickel or nickel copper and be connected to a track 3, e.g. ruthenium oxide, having relatively high resistance. A metal heat sink may be attached to substrate 1.
