1518646 Orthogonal web registering SIEMENS AG 17 March 1977 [30 March 1976] 11497/77 Heading B8R An orthogonal web registering device comprises a pair of parallel, spaced rollers 1, 2 over which is trained a web (not shown), one end of the rollers being journalled in first and second movable bearings 6, 7 for displacement by an amount a by servo-motors 3, 4 to control lateral register and the other end of the roller 2 being mounted on a third movable bearing 8, the bearings 7, 8 being displaceable by an amount b by servo-motors 4, 5 to control the longitudinal register. The servo-motors are controlled in selective manner by longitudinal and/or lateral registers 12, 13, through associated triggers 16 to 18.
