Abstract

1512352 Tobacco additive IMPERIAL GROUP Ltd 7 Feb 1977 [3 March 1976] 08553/76 Heading A2C Tobacco is coated with particles of porous carbon prior to being made up into cigars or cigarettes. The coating is performed by first wetting the tobacco and then tumbling the tobacco with the carbon and an adhesive. Preferably the final composition comprises 5 to 25% by weight carbon and adhesive, the remainder being tobacco.
