Abstract

The pharmaceutical composition contains one or more pharmaceutical agents dissolved or uniformly suspended in a sheet whose material is soluble in water or organic solvents, preferably in both. It can be produced by dissolving or suspending the agent, introducing a sheet former which is soluble in water and/or soluble in organic solvents, drawing the resulting solution or suspension out to a film and drying the latter. The pharmaceutical sheet obtained in this way is divided into sections, e.g. dosage units. It is also possible to use release agents and fillers as well as the conventional flavourings, colorants etc. in the process.
