Abstract

1509966 Corner trim N S McPHERSON 15 July 1975 29557/75 Heading B6G [Also in Division B5] A moulding for application to corners comprises at least one pair of planar semi-rigid thermoplastic strips 11, 12 connected integrally at their edges to a planar flexible thermoplastic strip 13, strips 11, 12 bearing adhesive for application to the surfaces adjacent the corners and strip 13 flexing to cover the join. The undersurfaces of strips 11, 12 may be coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive to facilitate application, the adhesive being protected by release strips. The strips 11-13 may comprise extruded plasticized polyolefin or vinyl, and may be heat-welded together. As shown, the moulding covers the angle between a wall and floor; other embodiments (Figs. 5-7, not shown) illustrate mouldings containing up to five semi-rigid strips used as cap mouldings, shelf edging and table top covers.
