Abstract

150,502. Abushady, A. Z. July 24, 1919. Bee-keepers' appliances-An artificial honeycomb having no wax in its structure is made of a block of metal &c. in which the cells of hexagonal, square, circular, or other form are cast, pierced, or stamped. Two such combs may be .fitted in one frame on opposite sides of a foundation such as that described in Specification 150,549, and each comb may be made in several sections. The frame, Fig. 1, has a removable side a and is formed with a recess b to accommodate the edge of the foundation and a bent projection at the centre of the clips d by which the comb is secured. An adjustable spacer c regulates the distance between adjacent frames.
