Abstract

217,815. Barratt, G. Oct. 8, 1923. Beehives.-A foundation plate for honeycomb is formed from perforated metal, ebonite. wood, &c. to each side of which wax is applied, the two facings connecting together through the perforations in the metal, &c. The wax may be applied as a thin sheet or by dipping or spraying, and is impressed with the desired pattern by pressing between engraved plates or rollers. According to the Provisional Specification, instead of perforated metal, expanded metal or woven wire may be employed.
