Abstract
1503115 Dyeing synthetic polyamides MONTEDISON SpA 17 May 1976 [21 May 1975] 20297/76 Heading D1B Irregular synthetic polyamide fibres are dyed or printed in level yellow shades using dyes of formula in which X is hydrogen or bromine, Y is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine or a methyl group and the carboxylic acid group is in meta or para position relative to the azo group, preferably the dye liquors are initially buffered at pH 8.5 to 9 using borates and phosphates, the pH thereafter being reduced to the acid range. Level dyeings of good wet fastness properties are obtained.
