Abstract

1502867 Animal feed from beetle-infested manure C F H DE MAUDAVE 3 March 1977 50797/75 Heading A2B [Also in Division C1] Manure containing predatory beetles is mixed with other organic matter, allowed to stand, crushed, dried, crushed again, pelletised, air cooled in a cooling tower, and graded according to pellet size for bird or stock feed. The manure may be fowl manure preferably the matter entering the pelleter contains about 5% fat. The matter from the secondary crusher may be allowed to stand and passed through the drier and crusher again before pelleting.
