Abstract

1502085 Vibratory apparatus GENERAL KINEMATICS CORP 2 Feb 1976 [18 June 1975] 04036/76 Heading F2S Apparatus for vibrating castings to recover mould material therefrom comprises a substantially horizontal bed 10 for receiving the castings supported above a base 17 by springs 18, a frame 25 suspended below the bed 10 by springs 32, a pair of parallel shafts 35, 36 mounted on the frame 25 on opposite sides of and equally spaced from the centre of the frame, eccentric weights 37, 38 on the shafts, and a motor or motors 33, 34 connected to the shafts to rotate the latter so as to vibrate the frame 25 and thus through the springs 32 to cause vibration of the bed 10.
