Abstract
These insulating materials are produced from air-foamed spherical plastic and are covered with a liquid adhesive mixture. The adhesive mixture consists of 50 - 99 % of viscous loam, 0 - 30 % of Portland cement, 0 - 6 % of sand, 0 - 10 % of calcium hydroxide and 0 - 4 % of sodium silicate and water in the amount necessary for the dispersion. The cores thus treated are additionally coated with cement mortar consisting of a mixture of cement : sand = 1 : 3 to 1 : 6. Cheap insulating materials for heat insulation in house construction can thus be produced.
