Abstract
1439201 Revetments ZINKCON MAATSCHAPPIJ TOT UITVOERING VAN MODERNE ZINKCONSTRUCTIES BV 12 Sept 1973 [15 Sept 1972] 42897/73 Heading E1H [Also in Division D1] A revetment mat comprises a rectangular cloth 1 of synthetic material and a plurality of ballast-filled tubes 4 attached to the cloth in parallel by means of flaps 3. The tubes 4 which are preferably only partially-filled may have flaps 5 which are connected to flaps 3 by a stitched seam 6. Each flap 3 may be produced by forming a tube of larger diameter than is required and stitching a longitudinal seam to reduce the diameter to that required. The tubes have carrying loops 8. The flaps 3 may be formed by weaving a double cloth interwoven at intervals and then cutting down the top layer adjacent each interwoven portion.
