Abstract

1430326 Cabinets KBKA LUNDBERG 9 April 1974 [26 April 1973] 15759/74 Heading A4B A cabinet for drawings, maps or the like comprises a plurality of withdrawable frames 2 slidably guided in upper and lower guides 4, 5 through intermediate guide rods 3, 6, each frame 2 being supported on withdrawal by a rope 7 anchored at one end 8 to the cabinet at the rear end of the upper guide 4, the rope 7 passing over upper and lower rollers 2a, 2b carried by the rear edge of the frame 2 and over further rollers 6b, 6c carried by the lower guide rod 6 to be finally anchored at its other end 9 in the region of the middle of the lower guide 5. The lower rod 6 has rollers 6a, 6d respectively engaged in the lower guide 5 and in a part 2" of the frame 2 and is supported on a roller 5a located in the front end of the lower guide 5. The upper rod 3 has rollers 3a, 3b respectively engaged in a part 2' of the frame 2 and in the upper guide 4. Stops are provided to prevent complete withdrawal of each frame. Each frame 2 preferably carries a further frame which pivots down to a horizontal position when the frame 2 is withdrawn and serves to carry the stored articles.
