Abstract

1380010 Mechanical garages and stores TEWI-PAT ANSTALT 22 Aug 1972 [27 Aug 1971] 38979/72 Heading B8E A garage or other store comprises box cubicles 4 into which individual cages 3 can be pulled by hoisting mechanism 18, 19 acting on cables 6 attached to the cage. A cage 3 for each cubicle 4 has rollers 5 which are guided up vertical guides on the face of the frames and then along upper and lower rails 8, 9, respectively, into its cubicle 4 as it is pulled by the cables 6. A flap 10 guides the rollers on to the appropriate rail 8 until a rocking lever 14 is engaged to withdraw it and lower overrun flaps 11 to hold the cage on the rails 8, 9 which are inclined towards the vertical guides. An individual hoisting mechanism is provided in each cubicle 4 and the rails 8 and 9 converge towards each other from front to rear of the cubicle.
