Abstract
1425655 Terminals KABELUND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE AG 12 March 1973 [14 March 1972 22 April 1972] 11769/73 Heading H2E In a termination of a welding cable, the inner tube 1 for cooling water is fitted over a terminal tube 12 which is adapted to lead water to or from both the tube 1 and the space between the tube 1 and sheath 3 in which the stranded conductors 2 lie. The tube 1 therefore need not be perforated. The tube 1 is fixed to the tube 2 by ribs 14 and screws 13. Water flows in or out through one or more of pipe connections 7, 8, 9. One form of terminal tube (27, Fig. 4, not shown) is flexible. The conductors 2 are soldered at 6 to the terminal lug 5 and relieved of stress by semicircular clamps 17, with grooves (18, Fig. 3, not shown) for the conductor 2, screwed to the tube 12. The sheath 3 is attached by clips 4. The lug 5 has holes 11 by which it can be bolted to busbars.
