1425027 Lamp reflector LUCAS ELECTRICAL CO Ltd 24 April 1973 [20 May 1972] 23831/72 Heading F4R A lamp reflector comprises a dished body having a layer of thermosetting resin including an additive for increasing the flexibility of the resin, at least on the internal surface thereof, and a reflective coating overlying the layer on the internal surface of the body. In an embodiment a mild steel deep drawn blank is coated on both sides with an epoxy resin and cured. The internal resin coating is ground smooth, a layer of lacquer applied to both sides and a reflective coating formed on the inside by vacuum deposition. Rectangular and circular reflectors may be coated.
