Abstract
1421842 Fatty acid esters PIERRE FABRE SA 20 March 1973 [20 March 1972] 13353/73 Heading C2C Zea Mays oil is transesterified with sorbitol at temperatures below 80‹ C. in the presence of sodium, sodium ethylate or p-toluene sulphonic acid as catalyst. The catalyst may be neutralized, e.g. with phosphoric acid and the product emulsified with water.
