Abstract

1332190 Sucrose fatty acid esters DAI-ICHI KOGYO SEIYAKU CO Ltd 21 Oct 1970 [23 Oct 1969] 50041/70 Heading C2C Sucrose esters of fatty acids are made by adding a fatty acid ester and a transesterification catalyst to an aqueous solution of sucrose containing a fatty acid soap under such conditions of temperature and pressure that a substantially completely dehydrated melt is obtained without substantial loss of fatty acid ester through hydrolysis and maintaining the said melt at 110-175‹ C. to produce the desired esters.
