Abstract

1416994 Cleats H DENNIS 21 Feb 1973 [30 Nov 1971] 55648/71 Heading E2A A cleat 10 for fastening elastic cord 11 comprises a helical loop portion 14 disposed at such an angle 18 to a shank 12 that when a cord is passed through the loop and then round the shank as shown in Fig. 3, tension on the cord draws it down into a gripped position in the angle, as shown in Fig. 4.
