Abstract

1415791 Heating/cooling reactions DEGGENDORFER WERFT UND EISENBAU GmbH 12 Jan 1973 [13 Jan 1972] 1765/73 Headings BIF and B1X In a reactor for endothermic/exothermic reactors with heating/cooling means, in which the reaction is carried out in catalytic tubes 2, Fig. 1, throttles 26 and 27 at outlets 24, 25 (or throttle 36 in inlet 35, Fig. 4, not shown) for heating/cooling fluid, can be adjusted to control the flow of heating/cooling fluid round the tube 2, the inlet conduit 12, and outlet conduit 20, 21 and 13 being annular, and conduits 12 and 13 communicating with the interior of containing vessel 1 at various points around the periphery of the vessel.
