Abstract

1498151 Hydraulic actuators ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 22 April 1975 [6 May 1974] 16576/75 Heading F1D [Also in Division H1] A hydromechanical pressure-displacement converter in which a piston 23 is prestressed by a spring 24 against fluid-pressure applied to a diaphragm 25 which is engaged by the piston 23, has a resilient annular disc 19 arranged between the diapragm 25 and piston 23, the outer edge 21 abutting a shoulder 18 in a housing 13 for the converter, while the inner edge 22 abuts the piston 23. As shown the diapragm 25 is of soft elastic rubber, the disc 19 is of relatively thin metal, and the piston-rod 31 acts on an electric switch 12. The stressing spring 24 is adjustable by means of device 29. The ratio of the outer diameter of disc 19 to the diameter of hole 27 therein is substantially 2 to 1. A ring 28 limits the stroke of piston 23.
