Abstract
1479848 Grass-seed granules COATED SEED Ltd 19 March 1975 011431/75 Addition to 1380865 Heading A2Q A seed granule comprises at least one seed of a turf plant, sufficient nutrient for the seed and 10-30% of a binding agent selected from clays and hydrophilic organic polymers. Seeds specified include Browntop, Dogstail, and Chewings Fescue. Nutrients specified include lime-reverted superphosphate, gypsum, dolomite, isobutylidene-diurea and fritted potash. The clay may be bentonite. Other ingredients specified include insecticides, e.g. DDT and lindane, fungicide, activated carbon, birdrepellant, stabilizer, e.g. wood pulp and green dye.
