Abstract
1478871 Electric terminals AMP Inc 2 Sept 1974 [5 Oct 1973] 38233/74 Heading H2E A terminal for flat twin core cable 20 comprises a pair of contact members 12, 14 joined by a frangible web 16 integrally formed from sheet metal stock. Core-contacting tangs 38 in each contact member may be out of alignment with each other to accommodate misalignment of the cable. The flanges 30 which in use are bent over to grip the cable may be inclined towards the base or may be curved. The contact members can be separated after securing to the cable.
