Abstract
1475859 Walls VEREINIGTE OSTERREICHISCHE EISEN - UND STAHL - WERKE-ALPINE MONTAN AG 21 Oct 1975 [12 Dec 1974] 43192/75 Heading EIW An outer wall construction for a building comprises top hat-sectioned posts 4 clad on the outside by weather-resistant panels of e.g. asbestos cement, fixed from the inside by, e.g. explosive rivets 16, and on the inside by panels fixed to the flanges 7 of the posts. Inner panels 17 may be of mineral wool and are fixed by pins 19 and plates 20. Inner panels 18 may be of magnesia-bonded wood wool and are fixed by self-tapping screws 21. The posts are supported by angle brackets 3 welded to steel rails 2 and having vertical slots (12, Fig. 2, not shown) through which fixing bolts 11 are passed into channel sections 8 welded to the posts.
