Abstract

1475351 Handling glass tubes CHARMOIS ETABS 9 July 1974 [10 July 1973] 30304/74 Heading ClM In a machine for performing operations on glass tubes at a plurality of stations, the tubes are supported on idler rollers 1 while located at a station and transferred between stations using two or more forks 33, 36, 37 which are linked by a tie 35 and mounted for movement in a circular path coaxial with the roller 1. Each station is further provided with a driven roller 5 for rotating the glass tube, which roller is movable into and out of engagement with the tube.
